The consensus.db file stores the blockchain ledger of Sia. The first chart tracks the evolution in size of this file and the real size of the Sia blockchain. Consensus.db is a padded file, and for this reason instead of increasing in size daily, it grows every few weeks to accomodate the following blocks being included. The average block size is calculated as the growth of the blockchain divided by the number of blocks on a day. Data is updated daily around 3:00AM UTC
